How to animate a photo with AI: a step-by-step guide

Animating a photo isn’t a “film from nothing” — it’s a short animation of an existing frame: light motion, expression, atmosphere.
How to do it
- Upload your photo to the bot.
- Get a still frame (look or description).
- Tap “Animate photo” and wait for the clip.
Which photos work better
- Close-up or half-body portrait.
- Face not covered by hands, glare glasses, or a mask.
- Enough resolution, without heavy Stories compression.
What to expect
The clip is short. It’s a format for Stories and reposts, not a replacement for a shoot. A complex multi-person frame animates worse than a single subject.
